How we started
RideForward was born out of a simple yet powerful insight that struck our founders while volunteering in West Philadelphia. They noticed countless neighbors were eligible for vital benefits—like SNAP and PA Medical Assistance—but remained unenrolled due to a lack of awareness and resources. This sparked the idea to create a vehicle-donation program that would not only provide funding for a much-needed benefits-research service but also help community members access these essential programs.
Launched in 2021, RideForward quickly became a grassroots initiative, rallying volunteers from the surrounding neighborhoods.
