Condition & logistics
Running vs Not Running
We accept motorcycles in any condition—running or not. If your bike has a few dents or has been sitting for a while, don’t worry! We believe every motorcycle has the potential to ride again.
Title Issues
Make sure your title is signed on the back with the odometer reading noted. If you have lost the title, we can guide you through the process of obtaining a replacement.
Storage and Pickup Logistics
Once you're ready to donate, our team will coordinate a hassle-free pickup. Whether your motorcycle is parked at home, in a garage, or at a storage facility, we'll ensure it gets to us with no fuss.
Title transfer & paperwork
In Pennsylvania, transferring the title of a motorcycle is straightforward. You'll need to complete the PA Form MV-1 for title transfer along with the back of your title, signed by you with the odometer reading. Notarization is typically required. Don’t forget to return your old license plate to the DMV to avoid any future liabilities. We’re here to help guide you through every step of this process!
Tax deduction for this donation
Donating your motorcycle can yield a tax deduction ranging from $500 to the fair market value, based on its condition and our ability to sell it. RideForward will provide you with a 1098-C form at the end of the year, making it easy for you to claim your deduction and benefit while helping others.
